Beyond announces latest US and Canada sales


Beyond Distribution has secured a raft of factual sales to US and Canadian broadcasters ahead of MIPTV. 


US broadcaster, National Geographic Channels US, acquired Chasing Monsters (Series 1 & 2: 24 x 60’), which features extreme angler and adventurer Cyril Chauquet, and epic rescue team series Highway Thru Hell (Series 2 & 3: 26 x60’).


The Weather Channel also acquired Highway Thru Hell (Series 4 and 7: 30 x 60’) and Heavy Rescue (Series 3: 14 x 60’) which focuses on the unique challenges faced by rescue and maintenance crews along North America’s most important trade route.


US cable and satellite channel, BYUtv acquired CBBC kids series Ice Stars (Series 1 -3: 30 x 30’) and Gym Stars (20 x 30’) which features the ups and downs of life for some of the UK’s top young ice stars and gymnasts.


In Canada, MythBusters Junior (10 x 60’) was acquired by Bell Media for the French Canadian, Ztele, channel and Blue Ant Media acquired both series of Love It or List It Australia (23 x 60’). Finally, Mexican cookery series, Pati’s Mexican Table, (13 x 30’) was acquired by Telelatino Network.
