Beyond Distribution secures over 600 hours of digital sales


Beyond Distribution has secured over 600 hours of digital sales deals with SVoD and AVoD platforms across its factual and kids titles. Recently launched, The Roku Channel UK, acquired the Emmy-nominated MythBusters Series 5 & 6 (60 x 60’), while film acquisition and distribution company, Filmrise acquired Series 1-8 of MythBusters (238 x 60’) as well as Series 1-5 of the Discovery series Deadly Women (58 x 60’). In addition, digital content studio and broadcaster, Little Dot Studios, has taken a package of 28.5 hrs, including the BBC documentary, Jane Austen: Behind Closed Doors (1 x 60’) presented by British historian, Lucy Worsley. Endemol Shine Group committed to a package of 100 hours for a variety of titles to air on AVOD channels, such as Fresh Lifestyle and Reel Truth, including Series 1-5 of STV’s Animal 999 (54 x 30’) and Series 1-3 of RTE’s You Should Really See a Doctor (18 x 30’). Kids sales were secured with Kidoodle.TV, the global safe streaming family focused channel and Ameba, the US & Canadian SVoD and AVoD kids platform who both acquired 50 hour package deals for titles including CBBC’s Numberjacks (66 x 15’) , Get Squiggling (50 x 15’) and ABC Australia’s Milly Molly (26 x 30’).
