Tuesday 22 February, 2011 – the day the New Zealand earthquake hit. Camerawoman Pip Walls was embedded with a rural Police Drink Drive team when the squad was called to Christchurch. This was a remarkable opportunity to document history from the inside. Pip had already been filming the squad for months and had built a strong relationship of trust. The result is extraordinarily candid, behind-the-scenes access inside the operation – from late night debriefs in motel rooms, to coverage of the search and rescue within the Red Zone, when all other media were kept outside the cordon.
